Authorities said deputies from a North Carolina county shot and killed a guy holding firearm with a rifle early Thursday. However, This incident occur after his family phoned to report that he was having a mental health crisis.

The family members of the victim contact to report that a guy was holding a firearm with a rifle and strolling down N.C. Highway 27 in the Johnsonville hamlet according to the sheriff

Curtis Roy Young, 40, of Cameron. He recognized as the guy by responding deputies. The sheriff’s office stated in a press statement that deputies were unable to deescalate the situation, which resulted in the shooting. However According to the sheriff’s office, police transferred victim to a local hospital and declared deceased.
