ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry the “imported” government has been given “NRO 2” with the implementation of NAB amendment laws.

Addressing a seminar, Fawad Chaudhry said that a complete regime change operation was carried out by first creating a political and then an economic crisis in the country.

He said PML-N leader Minister Khurram Dastagir has admitted that the coalition government came into power to end their cases. The former information minister said the government used 22 MNAs belonging to the PTI to come into power as the then-opposition did not have the numbers to oust Imran Khan.

Fawad said that Bilawal Bhutto has hinted about improving relations with India, giving bases to the United States and even recognizing Israel which could never have happened under Imran Khan.

Fawad said that a regime change operation was carried out for this purpose under which a no-confidence motion was filed and then relations with the United States would be restored. He said that in order to achieve this goal, PTI members were used to overthrow the government.

The former federal minister said that the party has demanded the Supreme Court to form a commission of inquiry to probe the alleged foreign conspiracy.

“The Supreme Court has not yet formed the commission of inquiry but we are hopeful that institutions will respond positively,” he said. “The no-confidence motion was not local, it was based on foreign agenda,” he said.

He said that during the PTI government, the economic situation was good as foreign reserves were increasing and there was support from overseas Pakistanis while he dollar was under control. He said the political crisis resulted in an economic crisis.

“The question here is whether this regime change operation has been completed. The regime change is still  not complete in Punjab,” he added.

Fawad Chaudhry said that one of the major reasons for non-completion of regime change is that it is not accepted by public and secondly, regime change is not yet complete in Punjab.

He said that Hamza Shahbaz has been appointed by the Election Commission and Lahore High Court. He said that people from all corners of the country gathered in just 36 hours on Imran Khan’s call which can only be done by PTI.
