At least two people were killed and three security personnel were injured after three blasts struck a Sikh-Hindu temple in Kabul Police District 4 on Saturday, multiple sources reported.
“We heard a huge blast which struck the gate of a temple in the Kart-e-Parwan neighbourhood at around 6 a.m. local time. The blast was followed by two more explosions inside the temple,” a witness informed Xinhua.

In addition, a security source near the scene informed Xinhua that two civilians were killed in the initial explosion.
Initial reports said that gunmen attacked and got into the building, and a source said that security was trying to kill or catch the attackers.
He added that three security personnel were also injured during the incident.
In social media footage, smoke could be seen billowing from the two-story building encircled by blast walls.
The media and the public were not permitted to enter the location, and nobody knows what is happening inside the compound.
There is currently no formal statement regarding the incident.
Two dozen worshippers were slain in an attack on a Sikh-Hindu temple in central Kabul in March of 2020.

On Friday, one person was killed and seven others were injured when an explosion struck a local mosque in the northern province of Kunduz.
