The transgender Mehrub Moiz Awan, who was invited to a private Islamabad school for a TED Talk, has been making waves today when Maria B spoke out against him. The students of the school left him to speak at the event because of his extremely liberal ideas.

Maria B voiced her opinion earlier today on her Instagram after learning that Mehrub Moiz Awan had been prohibited by the school from speaking out at a TED Talk Event. She said, “WELL DONE ISL SCHOOL!!! MY KIDS ARE AT ISL. AND WE AS PARENTS WILL DECIDE WHO REAL ROLE MODELS ARE FOR OUR KIDS”.
