The Little Mermaid, Disney releases the movie’s first teaser trailer. Another Disney classic gets given new life this time, it’s from 1989.

The debut trailer for the live-action version aired on September 9 during the D23 Disney fan event. The D23 Expo honours the Walt Disney Company and all of its renowned narratives and settings while also providing a sneak preview of upcoming Disney films.
Ariel, played by Halle Bailey, may be seen swimming across the azure waters of the ocean in the teaser.

As Ariel swims across the coral reefs and into a shipwreck in the excerpt, the recognizable song “Part of Your World” can be heard playing in the distance.

This remake, which Rob Marshall is directing along with numerous other Disney projects, features an all-star cast. Rob Marshall also directed Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. King Triton will be portrayed by Javier Bardem, and Ursula the Perverse will be played by Melissa McCarthy.

In addition to these, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, and Awkwafina will provide the voices of Sebastian, Flounder, and Scuttle, respectively.

On May 26, 2023, Disney will open the movie in theatres.
