The Lux Style Awards are presented to honor the successes of Pakistan’s entertainment sector. The Lux Style Honors are regarded as the most authentic Pakistani awards because they are completely focused on art and culture and support Pakistani fashion, film, and television.

Every year, new projects are released; some make the hit list, while others simply fade from memory. The storylines simply pass in front of the audience’s eyes without making an impression because our drama industry has become inert in terms of screenplay evolution and interesting stories, and we are tired of sticking to wealthy heroes, bickering sisters, and wicked mothers and sisters-in-law. But after Ahmed Ali Akbar played The Parizaad in a theater adaptation of Hashim Nadeem’s Parizaad, the rest, as they say, is history.

Parizaad was fully portrayed on television by Ahmed Ali Akbar, who also highlighted the appeal of original stories. Also dispelled was the idea that only saas-bahu sagas are effective. Since the drama’s conclusion, he has received nominations in every category. Following his significant victory at the Hum Awards, he went on to win the Critics Award for Best Male Actor at the Lux Style Awards in 2022.

Ahmed then gave a very touching speech in which he dedicated his award to all the Parizaads who work without recognition.
