Courtney Love has continued to criticize the actor after claiming she was sacked from “Fight Club” because she wouldn’t allow Brad Pitt to star in a film about her late husband, Kurt Cobain.

She stated earlier this week on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast that she was originally set up to play the pivotal role of Marla Singer in the 1999 blockbuster but was fired after Pitt and director Gus Van Sant made an unsuccessful pitch to her about making a film about Nirvana frontman.

Love declared, “I wouldn’t let Brad play Kurt.” “I blew it up. If you don’t understand me, you sort of don’t understand Kurt, and Brad, I don’t think you do.

Love tried out but wasn’t cast, a source added. They asserted, “You cannot be fired for a job you did not obtain.

The infamous artist then escalated the situation on Friday by writing on Instagram, “Brad pushed me a bridge too far. I don’t appreciate how he does business or uses his influence.

She claimed, “I lost my s-t on them and by seven o’clock I was fired. Love reportedly responded by saying, “Every word of this is factual,” in response to the denial that was printed.

She added that the “Fight Club” incident was not the end of the situation. She said that Pitt and they met on Zoom in 2020 to discuss Pitt making a Cobain movie under his Plan B productions, saying, “Brad continued pursuing me about Kurt.”

Love, who says she attended the meeting because she is “in recovery,” claimed that despite her repeated “no” responses, she was not heard. I was disregarded.

She continued, “I believed Pitt would not stop chasing Kurt unless I announced it in public,” which is why she chose to eventually share the incident on Maron’s podcast.

The lead singer of The Hole said she isn’t attempting to provoke the “Ad Astra” actor into a fight.

She wrote, “I don’t want Brad to be mad at me.” “I’m hoping he can improve. I’m not a fan of violence. Brother Pitt, come on. Truly, I wish you the best.

Love adds that she “greatly enjoyed him as a movie star. Not much as a producer of biopics. “If he’s furious at me, that’s his issue,” she continued.
