Pakistani classical vocalist from Pakistan Bilqees Khanum fell dead after a protracted illness.

The date of her funeral prayers has not yet been announced by her family. She was Nawaz Raees Khan’s (a well-known satirist) fourth wife.

For her work in the films Mela Sajna Di (1972) and Nai Zindagi: The Departed Soul Is Well Remembered (1968). Mat Samjho Humne Bhula Diya and Kuch Din To Baso Meri Aankhon Mein are two of her well-known songs.

She has performed songs by writers of legendary status in Urdu literature, including Parveen Shakir. Rekhta claimed that she was a veteran vocalist from Pakistan. She was Nawaz Raees Khan’s fourth wife, a classical satirist.
