Vikings: Valhalla clips were just aired on Netflix. We had assumed that would be it for today, but the streamer has just released the whole Season 2 trailer for the historical series, one of the first and most eagerly awaited releases of the year. The next episodes will depict Leif (Sam Corlett), Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), and Harald (Leo Suter) living as fugitives and their new experiences outside Kattegat.

The series’ next stunning destinations, like Constantinople and the fabled Viking stronghold of Jómsborg, are also revealed in the teaser, along with a glance at the difficulties Leif, Freydis, and Harald will encounter as they travel through unfamiliar and hostile terrain. We are swiftly reminded, nevertheless, that Vikings are constantly prepared to engage in their preferred activity: the struggle for survival.

The trailer also shows a scene that will undoubtedly be a highlight of the next episodes: A boat voyage towards a waterfall will undoubtedly put certain characters far nearer to Valhalla’s gates. The remainder is largely in line with what we anticipate from Vikings, but we’re not complaining: Fierce combats, sinister characters with strange forecasts, secrets all around, war, and balls of fire thrown into the air. Thursday must be Viking Day!

Vikings: Valhalla is the follow-up to the adored television program Vikings. Jeb Stuart, who previously authored little films like Die Hard and The Fugitive, developed it. The new series was a success from the start, and Netflix has already renewed it for Season 3. Fans don’t even need to worry about the show’s future. We may have access to Vikings for many more years to come if the spinoff series proves to be as popular as the original.

The cast of Vikings: Valhalla also includes Bradley Freegard, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Laura Berlin, David Oakes, Pollyanna McIntosh, Soren Pilmark, Bradley James, Hayat Kamille, Marcin Dorocinski, Sofya Lebedeva in addition to Corlett, Gustavsson, and Suter.
