As it narrates the tale of a woman who is in love with another woman, the first teaser for Mazhar Moin’s upcoming series has viewers’ interest.

Juvaria Abbasi, a Pakistani actor, rings the temple bell as she enters the shrine to begin the 37-second teaser, which is a Hindu tradition.

The teaser teases Juvaria’s close interactions with the other woman as she confesses her love for a Manal Siddiqui-portrayed character. The preview then moves on to some horrific visuals.

Juvaria keeps telling the tale of Ganga, one of the most revered figures in Hinduism, in the background.

Only a small number of viewers have viewed the preview for the short film, which was written and directed by Mazhar Moin and posted on the Meem Kahani YouTube channel

On social media, the director of Bheetar also provided a sneak peek, describing his endeavour as “love beyond society’s comprehension and acceptability.”

The country’s strict restrictions over material in mainstream media and theatres were avoided by movies on such contentious issues on social and OTT platforms.
