Last night, Ushna Shah tied the knot with Hamza Amin. The official start of the Pakistani actress Ushna Shah’s wedding festivities this week was the pre-wedding beach party for the couple’s close friends and family as well as the party for their guests.

On her wedding day, Ushna wore a red dress designed by Warda Saleem. The groom chose an off-white sherwani.

The social media users thought of her wedding day as influenced by Indian weddings. Many people disapproved of the way Ushna was dressed on her special occasion. According to them, everything from the decor to the dress of the bride gave the feeling of an Indian wedding. She is wearing too few garments, they claimed.

After they trolled her online, Ushna came back with a statement: ‘To those who have a problem with my dress: you were not invited, nor did you pay for my shade of red. My jewellery, my jora: purely Pakistani. My heart however, half Austrian. Allah humein khush rakhey Ameen.’

Ushna also called out the paparazzi who entered the wedding without any permission: ‘Beigaani shadi mein jo uninvited photographers ghuss gaye, unko salaam.’

On the work front, Ushna is seen in many hit projects including Cheeckh, Alif Allah Aur Insan, Bashar Momin, and Parizad.
