Following the release of his song Kana Yaari on Coke Studio alongside Kaifi Khalil and Eva B, Wahab Bugti became an instant success. Wahab rose to prominence in the Baloch music scene, and both Pakistan and the rest of the world recognised his stunning skill. As a victim of the disastrous floods in Balochistan, he also through the most trying period of his life. But he persevered and is now back playing on several stages.

In a recent interview with Aamna Haider Isani, Wahab Bugti revealed some details about his personal life. He claimed to have wed when he was 12 and to have eight children. He revealed that getting married early is customary in his village, and he did as well.

He revealed the following information regarding his family’s lifestyle:

He primarily works in Karachi these days, but he would never consider relocating permanently there because he loves his village. According to Wahab Bugti, the Balochi people refer to their hamlet as “Watan,” and they have an unrivalled devotion to it. He claimed that although Karachi had shown him respect and affection, his passion for Dera Murad Jamali was unrivalled.
