Leader of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Salim Khatri on Wednesday was shot in the Bilal Colony area of New Karachi, the police reported.

The victim had been targeted by four attackers, riding two motor bikes.

Five bullets had been shot to Salim Khatri from a close range.

The bullet wounds on his chest turned out to be fatal.

The body had been moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
