Pakistan Railways on Wednesday showed their concerns over worsening problems, following their sufferings to the worst ever financial crisis.

According to the details, the recent financial losses incurred by Pakistan Railways are the highest of all times.

During the last seven months of year 2022, the department incurred losses of 29 billion and 990 million.

The sources claimed that following this crisis, the expenditures of rupees 62 billion and 992 million had surpassed earnings of just rupees 32 billion and 911 million.

Following this misbalance between the financial inputs and outputs, Pakistan Railways is undergoing severe challenges in their operations.

Due to the crisis, the salaries and pensions are not being released on time; causing a dent on reputation and employee commitments.
