The same old plots with soap opera clichés like love triangles and violence are getting old to the TV audience. A new generation of programming made up of 5- to 6-episode short series, has, nevertheless, emerged and is a breath of fresh air.

Ek Thi Laila, Hum Dono, and Sar e Rah are a few of the new programs, with the latter becoming a big hit as a result of the enthralling lead performance by international singer Saba Qamar.

Saba Qamar‘s impressive on-screen presence and passionate fan base had a big influence in the success of the limited series. The Pakistani actress, who has had a great career for decades and is regarded as a symbol of talent, beauty, and modesty, has made a name for herself as one of the most outstanding performers in the nation’s entertainment business. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to say that.

Qamar will now co-star in the women-focused drama Gunnah with Rabia Butt and Juggun Kazim. After Eid, Express Entertainment will premiere a limited series in response to the ratings success of its prior offerings.
