Shadow and Bone season 2

The second season of Shadow and Bone features several points of view, but it is primarily concerned with Alina’s efforts to permanently end Fold by enhancing her power with the second and third amplifiers. The Darkling, also known as General Kirigan, is being fought by Crows and Alina, Nikolai, Mal, and their allies this season.

Mal turns out to be the Firebird, Morozova’s third amplifier that Alina was looking for. The group agreed to utilise Tamar’s heartrender gift to temporarily halt Mal’s heart so that Alina could kill Fold. Nevertheless, things suddenly change, and Alina stabs Mal to death in order to use Firebird power and eliminate Fold. She then uses a Neshyenyer blade to slay Kirigan and shadow creatures. Mal is brought back to life by the Sun Summoner using merzost and dark energy in the process.

Mal struggles to find a new purpose after the final battle, so she and Alina decide to part ways until destiny leads them back together. Later, at the coronation, Alina uses her power to halt the lady who attacked the crowd, but it is later discovered that her strength is now manifesting as black magic.

The return of Shadow and Bone’s new season is very likely with this fresh plot.
