Shakeel Siddique says several Pakistani comedians have traveled to India to work there, appearing in a variety of productions and movies. Naseem Vicky also contributed to The Kapil Sharma Show. After performing stand-up comedy for a long time, Kapil Sharma moved on to become a successful show host.

The program went on to become a phenomenon. His show is used by all the Bollywood A-listers to advertise their flicks. On The Kapil Sharma Show, everyone from seasoned performers to celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone have appeared for various projects. Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Momal Sheikh are all performers from Pakistan.

Despite Pakistanis’ greater comic skill, we do not have a major show like The Kapil Sharma Show to display it. Veteran actor Shakeel Siddiqui, who has long worked in Bollywood, also shared his thoughts on why we have not produced a major show similar to it.

Talking to Hafiz Ahmed on his podcast he said that we do not have stars like Shahrukh, Salman or Akshay who get involved with the show to make a big hit like that. They perform on the show while our stars specifically mention that they won’t perform if they come for an interview. He also said that they have big teams of writers and budgets which we lack also. Shakeel went on to say that we are working great in our limited budgets and resources available.
