Bandits kill five farmers including girl in Rahim Yar Khan

Rahim Yar Khan: Bandits attacked and killed five farmers including a girl in Rahim Yar Khan(RYK) District and four bandits were also shot dead by police retaliatory action while two officers were also martyred.

According to the police, more than a dozen bandits from the Kush and Shar gang attacked the farmers during sugarcane harvesting in the Machhka area.

4 farmers were killed and three were injured due to the firing by the bandits. A 17-year-old girl standing on the roof was also killed by the bullets.

After the incident, the police surrounded the robbers, and an encounter took place during which four robbers were killed.

Meanwhile, two police personnel Muhammad Qasim and Jam Irshad were martyred by the firing of the bandits while four others were injured. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan.

The exchange of fire between the Kush gang and the Shar gang is going on, the police of Circle Bhong Sadiqabad are involved in the operation and Ghotki police have also been called.
