PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested the accused who was funding the banned organization Daesh in the name of business.

According to CTD officials, $11,000, 150,000 euros, and 22,000 riyals  have been recovered from the arrested accused Sultan.

CTD officials said that a case of terrorism has been registered at police station CTD. The accused belongs to Afghanistan.

According to CTD, Pashto writing was also recovered from the pocket of the accused, which contained instructions regarding the target, besides the word Daesh was also written on the chain of the key recovered from the pocket of the accused.

Earlier, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle arrested five suspects involved in sexual harassment, child pornography and online fraud, Bol News reported.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Khaleequr Rehman, Abdul Majeed, Asif Abbas, Muhammed Shakeel and Muhammed Nadeem. They were arrested from Faisalabad, Okara and Jhang. Asif Abbas and Abdul Majeed were found involved in sharing objectionable videos and pictures of the woman.
