Govt launches helpline for scanning of illegal foreigners
ISLAMABAD: The government has launched a helpline for scanning illegal foreigners and appealed to the people for their cooperation and asked them to file a complaint against any illegal person on the relevant helpline.
A helpline has been launched for the scanning of illegal foreigners. The citizens should cooperate with the government of Pakistan in identifying illegal foreigners.
In Pakistan, the deadline of October 31, 2023, was given to illegal persons to leave the country. The public is informed to file a complaint on the relevant helpline of any illegal person and help for guidance and problems faced by illegal residents. The citizen can contact on helpline number 1700.
The staff posted in the control room is on duty round the clock for full guidance, information, and problem-solving.
On the other hand, special control rooms have been established for the repatriation of Afghan citizens in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Evacuation of foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan continues, from November 1. A crackdown was launched against illegal residents in KP and Balochistan.
Temporary camps have been set up in Peshawar, Landi Kotal, and Quetta. The people residing illegally in the temporary camps will be sent back as per the law.
