Qureshi approaches court to obtain cipher rules, guidelines
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has filed petition in Islamabad High Court for obtaining cipher rules and guidelines.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has approached the High Court to obtain the cipher rules and guidelines.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also filed plea to obtain cabinet decisions related to the cipher, both petitions were filed by lawyer Ali Bukhari and lawyer Faiza Asad Malik.
The petition said that petitions were filed in the special court for cipher rules, cabinet decisions. The special court rejected the petitions without using judicial mind and the trial court’s decision not to provide cipher lines, cabinet decisions is against Article 10A.
In the petition, it was requested that the court should set aside the judgments of the trial court dated October 27, November 7 and direct the special court to provide cipher guidelines and rules.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Islamabad High Court should direct the special court to provide cabinet decisions on the code cipher and order to stop the trial until the cipher guidelines and cabinet decisions are provided.
