• NAB Chairman issued arrest warrant of IPP leader.

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in a corruption case.

The arrest warrant of the leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party(IPP) and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was issued by Chairman National Accountability Bureau(NAB), after which NAB arrested him.

According to the text of the warrant, Fawad Chaudhry has been arrested in a corruption case and NAB has taken him into custody from Adiala Jail, NAB officials will present him in court and request his remand.

It should be noted that Fawad Chaudhry is already under arrest where the court of Rawalpindi sent him to Adiala jail on judicial remand yesterday.

Earlier, Accountability Court Islamabad has approved the judicial remand of former prime minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in the Toshakhana case.
