ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has delisted 13 political parties for not conducting intra-party elections.

The ECP accepted the intra-party elections of two political parties and rejected the intra-party elections of 13 political parties.

In its decision, the Election Commission delisted 13 parties saying that the behavior of the political parties was not serious.

The ECP accepted the intra-party details of Jamiat Ulema e Pakistan(JUP) and issued the election symbol to JUI.

The electoral regulatory body has also issued election symbols to Pakistan Muslim League Jinnah while All Pakistan Minority Alliance, All Pakistan Tehreek, Awami Party Pakistan, and Bahawalpur National Awami Party have been delisted.

The ECP also delisted Sab Ka Pakistan, Pakistan Aman Council Party, and Pakistan National Muslim League for not conducting intra-party elections.
