Ex-Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal summons in harassment case

ISLAMABAD: The Chairperson of Federal Ombudsman for protection against harassment of women at workplace Fauzia Waqar has summoned former Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal in personal capacity for the upcoming hearing in Tayyaba Gul harassment case.

Tayyaba Gul’s complaint against former NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal and others was heard in the Federal Ombudsman.

The Chairperson Federal Ombudsman for protection against harassment of women at workplace Fauzia Waqar heard the case.

The Federal Ombudsman said that Javed Iqbal has been advised to rest for 10 days in the immunity application filed.

Tayyaba Gul said that keep the next date when Javed Iqbal recovers and call the main accused of her case, Javed Iqbal and Imran Dogar.

Lawyer said that his objection to filing a similar case on behalf of Tayyaba Gul should be written down.

Chairperson Fauzia Waqar said that the answer to the allegations should be submitted at the next hearing and the case should be decided on time.

The Federal Ombudsman summoned 12 accused including Javed Iqbal and NAB investigation officer Imran Dogar in personal capacity for the next hearing.
