The official memorandum of understanding, signed by Khaled Abdullah Belhoul on behalf of the UAE and Xhabir Hamiti, the Ambassador of Kosovo to the UAE, paves the way for visa-free travel for ordinary, diplomatic, special, and mission passport holders.

UAE citizens with valid passports with a minimum validity of one year can now enjoy visa-free entry into Kosovo, allowing them to stay for up to 90 days per trip.

In return, citizens of Kosovo holding valid diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports are granted reciprocal visa-free entry into the UAE.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed their enthusiasm during a telephone conversation.
