Ali Amin Gandapur to vie for KP CM slot as independent candidate

PESHAWAR: Ali Amin Gandapur, the nominee for chief minister slot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP), has decided to contest for KP Assembly as an as an independent.

Ali Amin Gandapur has not joined the Sunni Ittehad Council(SIC).

Talking to media, PTI leader Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed that the nominated Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has not joined the Sunni Ittehad Council.

He said that Ali Amin Gandapur is currently an independent candidate and will fight for the election of the Chief Minister without any party and as an independent.

He said that Ali Amin Gandapur has also submitted papers for the provincial presidency in the intra-party election and after joining the Sunni Ittehad Council, he cannot contest the intra-party election.
