ATC declares 4 underground PTI leaders as POs

LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court(ATC) has declared four underground leaders of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) as proclaimed offenders.

The Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore heard the case related to the burning of the office of Pakistan  Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Model Town on May 9.

Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case, the investigating officer said that the advertisements of the accused were also published but they were not appeared.

The investigating officer requested that the accused should be classified as proclaimed offenders  after hiding from the arrest cadre.

The court has declared four undercover PTI leaders as advertisers including Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Wasiq Qayyum and Muhammad Zubair Niazi.

A case has been registered against the accused in Model Town Police Station.

Earlier, Anti-Corruption Court adjourned the President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi illegal recruitment in the Punjab Assembly case hearing till February 12.

In the case of illegal recruitment in the Punjab Assembly, the former Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi and others could not be charged.
