KARACHI: A food delivery rider was killed in firing incident in Gulshan e Iqbal area of Karachi on Thursday.

According to rescue sources, the incident of firing on University Road took place in Gulshan Iqbal Block 4A within the limits of the Mubina Town Police Station.

Superintendent of Police (SP)  Farhat Kamal said that the slain food panda rider was shot once and no belongings were taken from the slain rider and he was identified as Muhammad Waqas Hanif.

Earlier, The Sindh government has decided to give half-day in public and private institutions in view of the forecast of rain in Karachi on March 01,2024(tomorrow).
