The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has directed private educational institutions in Dubai to offer distance learning options, including online classes, on Monday, February 12th, due to the anticipated unpredictable weather.

KHDA encourages schools, nurseries, and universities to adopt flexible learning methods to accommodate the needs of parents, staff, and students.

Meanwhile, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has convened meetings in response to the fluctuating weather conditions across the country.

A recent alert highlighted potential weather events from Sunday to Tuesday, including rain, lightning, thunder, and possibly hail.

NCEMA assures the public that preventive measures are underway to prepare for the expected temperature drop. Residents are urged to adhere to safety protocols, especially in flood-prone areas.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution, steering clear of water channels and flood-prone routes. These measures aim to safeguard the public from adverse weather conditions.
