Nawaz Sharif seeks PPP support for formation of government

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif invited the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), independent candidates, and other political parties to sit together for the country.

Addressing the workers, he said that the PML-N has emerged as the largest party in the general elections and we must take this country out of the crises.

He said that PML-N respects the mandate of the parties and parties respect everyone whether it is a party or independent people. He invited independent candidates to come and sit with us to get Pakistan out of its difficulties, our agenda is only and Only Pakistan is prosperous.

He said that you know who has done what for this country and how PML-N got out of the economic difficulties and fixed the economy.

The former prime minister said that politicians, parliament, Pakistan forces, and media should all play a positive role.  He said at least ten years are needed for stability in the country and added that Pakistan cannot afford any war at this time.

Nawaz Sharif announced the formation of a coalition government in the absence of a simple majority and said that we do not want to compare with anyone.

He said that Shahbaz Sharif has been given the task of meeting Asif Zardari, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and has given him a mandate to meet political leaders today.
