As the winter intensifies, Pakistan prepares for even colder temperatures. The Meteorological Office forecasts a combination of rain and snow in the western and upper regions, creating a scenic but chilly environment.

The upcoming twelve hours depict cold and partly cloudy conditions across much of the country. However, in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, southern Punjab, the Pothohar region, Kashmir, and nearby mountainous areas, a mix of rain, wind, and thunderstorms is forecast. Additionally, snowfall is expected over the hills, with a possibility of hailstorms in some areas. Isolated heavy precipitation is likely in northern and southwestern Balochistan.

Rain is anticipated in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, and Khushab, extending the weather’s performance. The hills of Murree and Galiat, along with their vicinity, might experience a combination of rain and snowfall, adding to the atmospheric spectacle.

The weather concert persists in Sindh, with Jamshoro, Karachi, Dadu, Nowshero, Feroze, and Larkana anticipating rainfall.

This morning’s temperature check shows varied readings across major cities: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at 5°C, Lahore and Peshawar at 11°C, Karachi enjoying warmth at 22°C, Quetta at 2°C, Gilgit at 3°C, and Murree feeling the winter’s cold at 0°C.
