PTI-backed candidate withdraws in favor of Jahangir Tareen

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) backed independent candidate from Lodhran Ifat Tahira has withdrawn from NA-155 in favor of Jahangir Tareen, chief of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

In Lodhran, PTI leader independent candidate Ifat Tahira Soomro met Chairman IPP Jahangir Tareen.

Ifat Tahira Soomro announced her withdrawal from NA 155 in favor of Jahangir Tareen.

Ifta Tahira Soomro was welcomed by Jahangir Tareen and vowed to do politics together.

On the other hand, Ifat Tahira Soomro said in a video statement announced her withdrawal from NA 155 Lodhran.

She said “I started practical politics from Lodhran against Siddique Baloch of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Siddique Baloch group has been propagating for two or three days that she has been kidnapped, this is false and false propaganda.

She said, “I was accused of money, which is based on lies”.

Ifat Tahira Soomro said that people should vote for Jahangir Khan Tareen in NA 155.

On the other hand, Hafiz Hatim, the brother of PTI’s woman candidate, Ifat Tahira Soomro dismissed claims of abduction and clarified his sister’s voluntary withdrawal from the election in NA-155 Lodhran.

Addressing the rumors circulated by the Siddique Baloch group, Hafiz Hatim asserted that the family is happily present and refuted any notions of being kidnapped.

He emphasized that the group’s efforts to spread false information, including allegations of withdrawal for financial gain, are baseless and misleading.
