Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan takes oath as SC judge

ISLAMABAD: Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan .

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa administered the oath to Justice Naeem Afghan, the oath-taking ceremony was held at the Supreme Court Islamabad.

After the swearing-in of Justice Naeem Akhtar as a Supreme Court judge, the number of Supreme Court judges has increased to 14.

There are currently three vacancies of judges in the Supreme Court.

Justice Naeem Akhtar was serving as the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court before taking oath as a judge of the Afghan Supreme Court.
