In response to the Prime Minister’s Ramadan package aimed at enhancing citizen convenience, the Utility Stores Corporation has announced an extension of their operating hours. This decision is part of a broader effort to facilitate the public during the holy month of Ramadan.

Utility stores will now remain open until 10 p.m. after Iftar, providing shoppers with extended access to essential goods and services. This move aims to accommodate the increased shopping needs of citizens during Ramadan and ensure they have convenient access to necessary items.

Additionally, as a gesture of support to its employees, Utility Stores Corporation will be offering a daily Iftar allowance of 500 rupees to its staff members. This initiative reflects the corporation’s commitment to ensuring the well-being and welfare of its workforce during this auspicious month.

The extension of operating hours and provision of Iftar allowances are part of the broader Ramadan Relief Package, which includes measures to extend Iftar allowances until Chand Raat. Utility stores have issued directives to their zonal and general managers to ensure the smooth implementation of these measures across all stores.
