In honor of martyrs and to enhance educational opportunities, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has declared the initiation of the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program in the province.

CM Bugti emphasized that under this innovative initiative, the provincial government is dedicated to offering steadfast assistance for the educational needs of the children of martyrs.

The state will assume the role of a nurturing guardian, ensuring that educational expenses from nursery to higher education are fully covered under the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship,” he added.

Chief Minister Bugti instructed the interior ministry to comprehensively gather data on all individuals recognized as martyrs. Additionally, he revealed plans for full scholarships for driven students from Balochistan to pursue doctoral studies in cutting-edge scientific disciplines at 200 prestigious universities worldwide.

Furthermore, as part of the comprehensive scholarship program, the highest scorers in matriculation examinations from each district will be provided opportunities for further education within the country.

To promote inclusivity, Chief Minister Bugti revealed plans for an equitable distribution of scholarships. He outlined that each year, fifty percent of the scholarships would be allocated to minorities and transgender individuals across all educational levels, ranging from nursery to master’s degree programs.
