Government College University Lahore has made a significant change in its admissions process for intermediate classes this year. The prestigious institution has decided to eliminate the entry test requirement for intermediate admissions following directives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

In a new directive, the HEC has urged all public colleges to streamline the admissions process for intermediate classes immediately after the announcement of matriculation results. Responding to these guidelines, Government College University Lahore is gearing up to commence the admissions process promptly.

In previous years, the university had made the admission test mandatory for intermediate admissions. However, this year marks a departure from that practice as the entry test requirement has been waived off.
