‘India Out’ campaign gains momentum Bangladesh after Maldives

DHAKA: The Bangladeshi people and the opposition also followed in the footsteps of Maldives and chanted ‘India Out’.

According to a British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) report, the ‘India Out’ campaign in Bangladesh has been launched by some influencers, social activists, and influential personalities, which is supported by a section of the public and opposition politicians.

This campaign has gained momentum after the victory of the Awami League in the recent elections which were boycotted by the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) ‘.

The ongoing campaign by the People’s Activist Coalition is emphasizing boycotting Indian products. The boycott campaign of Indian products is being termed as ‘India Out’.

According to a report, the United States and the United Kingdom had described the general elections of Bangladesh as unfair and biased.
