The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) serves as the authority for issuing the Family Registration Certificate (FRC), a document that provides comprehensive details about family members. As of April 2024, the FRC fee remains at Rs. 1,000 for both normal and executive categories.

Pakistani citizens can apply for an FRC in three different categories:

  1. By Birth: This category includes details about the applicant’s family, including parents and siblings.
  2. By Marriage: The FRC lists information about the applicant’s family, including spouse and children.
