Flight operation to bring students back from Kyrgyzstan completed
ISLAMABAD: The ongoing flight operation to bring Pakistani students back home from Bishkek Kyrgyzstan has been completed.
In the operation of returning students, 4500 students returned home, the expenses of which were borne by the government of Pakistan.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the fake news disturbed the Pakistani students and their families, and they were brought back to the country on the request of the students.
The spokesperson said that the decision to return to Kyrgyzstan will be the students’ own, the situation in Kyrgyzstan has returned to normal, they want the students to continue their education online or in other ways.
According to sources, only Pakistani students returned from Kyrgyzstan, while more than 19,000 Indian students are still in Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, Two special flights carrying students from Kyrgyzstan have successfully arrived in Pakistan. The flights, KA-4575 and KA-6571, transported approximately 360 Pakistani students from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, landing at Islamabad and Lahore International Airports, respectively. Families and relatives were present at the airports to welcome the students.
Special counters were set up in the international arrival lounges to assist the passengers, and the FIA expedited the immigration process for the arriving students.
