The PDMA’s alert indicates that most districts in Punjab could experience dusty winds and thunderstorms until May 18th. This weather shift is expected to bring heavy rainfall to several areas, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Lahore, Kasur, Sialkot, Narowal, and Okara.
Additionally, rainfall is likely in Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, and Mianwali during this period.
As the month progresses, the weather is expected to take another turn. From May 21st to May 27th, Punjab is bracing for a potential heatwave, adding to the region’s intense weather activity.
