Eid ul Adha Moon-sighting predictions 

The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Climate Data Processing Center predicts a high chance of moon visibility on Friday, June 7. The new moon is expected to form on June 6 at 5:38 PM, with sunset at 7:20 PM and moonset around 8:30 pm.

• Moon Birth: June 6 at 5:38 PM

• Duration for Moon Sighting: 72 minutes post-sunset

The PMD also emphasized that the moon needs to be at least 19 hours old to be visible. By sunset in Karachi, it will be 26 hours and 8 minutes old, making a moon sighting highly probable.
