MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema suspended for NA session

ISLAMABAD: Speaker of National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has suspended Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Tariq Bashir Cheema for the current session of the lower house over using abusive language against MNA Zartaj Gul.

The House approved Speaker Ayaz Sadiq’s resolution regarding the suspension of Tariq Bashir Cheema’s membership in the National Assembly.

In his resolution, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that there was an incident in the National Assembly that hurt the hearts of many members, it was a unanimous decision to suspend Tariq Bashir Cheema.

It should be remembered that two days ago, the members of the Sunni Ittehad Council protested for saying inappropriate words to Zartaj Gul.

Later, Tariq Bashir Cheema apologized to the female member of the Sunni Ittehad Council, which was accepted by Zartaj Gul.
