In a recent development, the German embassy in Pakistan has announced the commencement of student visa registration for the winter semester of 2024-2025, starting on May 21.

The embassy will begin offering appointments for students holding admission letters for the summer semester of 2024 by the end of May. It’s important to note that admission letters dated after May 15 for the summer semester of 2024 will be voided, and affected students will be notified via email.

This new initiative aims to streamline the visa application process and handle the substantial influx of applications the embassy receives, especially with the increasing number of young individuals seeking opportunities abroad.

Given the high demand, the German Embassy has introduced new priorities for the upcoming registration period. Preference will be given to applicants holding scholarships from German institutions and PhD students. Additionally, those with a CGPA of 3.7 or higher will receive a special online registration opportunity.
