ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and PTI senior leader Shoaib Shaheen were injured when the police baton charged participants of the party rally organized on the call of the party founder Imran Khan to mark the May 9 incident.

A heavy contingent of police dispersed the protesters. As soon as they saw the police, the protestors ran away, not a single one was arrested.

Meanwhile, the police tried to arrest PTI Chairman Gohar but evaded them and reached the party Central Secretariate.

Talking to Bol TV exclusively, the PTI chairman said that they had condemned the May 9 incidents but this is their constitutional and legal right to hold protest.

He added that they wanted to know, under what law they had been stopped from holding peaceful protests across the country.
