Street crime ratio to be dropped very soon : Governor Sindh

KARACHI:  Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has expressed hope that street crime will be dropped soon in the city soon.

Additional Inspector General Imran Yaqoob Minhas met Kamran Tessori at the Governor House, in which the role of the police in maintaining law and order was discussed, while the elimination of street crime in the city and other issues were also discussed.

On this occasion, Kamran Tessori said that the protection of people’s life and property is the first priority of the government. He said the Sindh government is making efforts to eliminate street crime and there will be a clear reduction in street crime very soon.

Governor Sindh said that surveillance cameras are of primary importance in crime prevention, people-friendly police behavior is sure to prevent crime and all institutions need to have coordinated and effective communication.
