Utility Stores Corporation Reduces Ghee Prices for Public Relief!
In a significant move aimed at providing relief to the public, the Utility Stores Corporation has announced a reduction in the price of ghee. This decision is expected to benefit both families registered under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and the general consumer base.
A spokesperson from the Utility Stores Corporation revealed that the price of ghee for BISP-registered families has been decreased by Rs 18 per kilogram. Previously priced at Rs 393 per kilogram, BISP customers will now pay Rs 375 per kilogram for ghee, resulting in substantial savings.
This price reduction extends to the general consumer base as well. General consumers will now be charged Rs 445 per kilogram, down from the previous price of Rs 463. This reduction of Rs 18 per kilogram is expected to ease the financial burden on households across Pakistan.
The spokesperson further confirmed that these revised prices are effective immediately across all Utility Stores. This immediate implementation ensures that consumers can avail themselves of the reduced prices without any delay, making ghee more affordable and accessible to all.
This initiative is part of the government’s continuous efforts to provide economic relief to the public, particularly focusing on those most in need. By reducing essential commodity prices like ghee, the government aims to improve the living standards of its citizens and alleviate financial pressures.
Consumers are encouraged to visit their nearest Utility Store to take advantage of these newly reduced prices for ghee. This move not only benefits individual households but also contributes to overall economic stability and welfare in Pakistan.
