CDA to Open a Wildlife Safari Park in Islamabad!
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has unveiled ambitious plans to introduce a wildlife safari park and ‘Pakistan Street’ in Islamabad, aiming to elevate recreational and conservation offerings in the region.
During a recent meeting led by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and attended by senior officials, the decision to develop a wildlife safari park with a ‘jungle theme’ was approved. This park will feature tree houses to provide visitors with up-close encounters with wildlife, along with an animal rehabilitation center to underscore its conservation efforts.
A dedicated technical team has been assigned to formulate a comprehensive feasibility report for this venture, with Chairman Randhawa emphasizing the need to benchmark against international safari park standards to ensure world-class quality.
In addition to the safari park, the CDA’s plans include the launch of ‘Pakistan Street,’ a culinary project showcasing international food outlets. This initiative aims to enrich the dining experience for residents and tourists alike by offering a diverse array of dining options.
Both projects are slated to kick off in the upcoming fiscal year following rigorous technical evaluations. Chairman Randhawa expressed optimism regarding the potential of these initiatives to boost tourism and introduce new recreational avenues for Islamabad’s populace.
“These projects underscore our commitment to developing cutting-edge facilities that not only entertain but also champion wildlife conservation and cultural enrichment,” stated Chairman Randhawa, highlighting the CDA’s multifaceted approach towards city development.
