CTD kills most wanted TTP terrorist in Bannu

PESHAWAR: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has killed the most wanted terrorist while conducting an operation.

According to CTD, this operation was conducted in Bannu, the killed terrorist was identified as Umar, from which arms and hand grenades were also recovered. The slain terrorist was wanted in blasts, target killing and attacks on forces.

According to CTD officials, the terrorist belonged to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan(TTP) Hafiz Gul Bahadur group.

Earlier,  Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested 44 terrorists during an operation in different cities, terrorists were planning to attack other places.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab conducted 794 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in different cities.  44 terrorists were arrested during the intelligence-based operation.

The spokesman said that operations were carried out in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Khanewal, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalpur.
