Hyderabad cylinder blast death toll rises to 14

KARACHI: The death toll from the cylinder blast has reached to 14 as three more people succumbed to their injuries.

Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Ruth Pafu Civil Hospital Karachi(CHK) Dr Khalid Bukhari said three more cylinder blast victims died during treatment in Burns Centre Karachi.

He informed that nine injured people are under treatment in civil hospital, out of which 7 are in serious condition. Dr Khalid Bukhari said the two deceased persons were 100% burnt.

Earlier, a tragic cylinder blast occurred in Preetabad area of ​​Hyderabad, after which a fire broke out.

The explosion and fire also damaged nearby buildings while several people were also burnt due to the fire and were shifted to the hospital.

After the incident, LPG shops in the city have been closed after the Paretabad incident.

In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner said  that those doing LPG business will have to take NOC and administration will not be allowed to do business in the population and they will be allowed to do LPG business on highways.
