Eid-ul-Adha 2024 weather Update: Rain to bring relief on Eid
LAHORE – Intermittent rain and gusty winds are forecasted for Lahore and parts of Punjab on Wednesday evening, Thursday, and Friday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is affecting the upper and central parts of Pakistan.
Under these weather conditions, intermittent rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, and several other regions, including Lahore and Faisalabad, from Wednesday evening through the next two days. Gusty winds with isolated showers are also likely in Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan, Muzaffargarh, and Multan during the evening and night.
Lahore’s maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 37 and 39 °C on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, isolated rain, wind, and thunderstorms occurred in parts of Punjab.

Gujranwala was the hottest place in the province, with a maximum temperature of 46 °C. Bahawalnagar and Bhakkar recorded temperatures of 45 °C, while Noorpur Thal and Kasur reached 44 °C.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature reached 42 °C, and the relative humidity in the evening was 27 percent.
